Job Specification ING Transaction Reporting provides regulatory transaction reporting services such as MIFIR, EMIR and SFTR transaction reporting to various internal entities. You will be a Business Consultant with the role of Product Owner (PO) within a squad consisting of a Product Owner, transaction reporting operations specialists, and engineers for development and IT operations. You work with and support other colleagues in your squad to ensure complete, correct and timely delivery of transaction reports to regulators. As PO, you have end-to-end responsibility for the product backlog management and stakeholder management as well as the delivery and operationalization of product specific Epics, Stories and Delivery Sprints. Together with Chief PO, you will initiate and drive change, working closely with customers and key stakeholders on vision, strategy and the roadmap. As a PO, you are a team player, leader, motivator and an expert with a track record in delivering and monitoring the product in a multidisciplinary, international team with complex objectives, operating in a fast-moving, challenging environment. As an expert, you will deliver all the necessary business know-how and skills within the Squads to realise shared purpose, day by day.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Of Role You are responsible for the ‘what’ in the Squad, ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are met for all stakeholders. Non-functional requirements include, but are not limited to, security, resilience, performance, contractual aspects of technology platform. You maximize the value of product delivery through owning, ordering, prioritizing and communicating product backlog. You prioritise the product backlog by defining the roadmap in quarterly business reviews, by aligning with other product owners and stakeholders. You focus on implementing working solutions. You are energetic in getting things done and making complex issues simple and easy to understand. You monitor the quality and performance of your squad. You will create insights and report on progress, impediments and mitigation actions. You will take the role of an end-consumer representative for the product and ensure that the end-consumer’s experience and compliance is recognized by the Squad. You manage dependencies and impediments of the delivery, and mitigating risks.

Candidate Profile Experience/Knowledge 15+ years of working experience in financial markets related functions of which 5+ years in transaction reporting, working level knowledge of the global transaction reporting regulations. good knowledge and understanding of financial markets products, and trade life cycles. ability to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment with the highest standards of integrity and ethics. strong organisational sensitivity; ability to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of an international organisation, dealing with multiple, sometimes conflicting, interests. strong interpersonal skills with ability to connect and develop partnerships. resilient; ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complexity without losing essence. strong verbal / written communication skills that are effective across all levels of the organization. previous experience with working with technology teams.
