Summary: The Product Owner for Power Systems will be responsible for managing the product backlog and ensuring prioritization aligns with business value. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap, translating business requirements into user stories, and driving Agile ceremonies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization aligned with business value
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business, engineering, operations) to define product vision and roadmap
  • Translate business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Drive Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of features
  • Ensure solutions align with power system workflows (generation, transmission, distribution)
  • Analyze energy management systems to enhance product capabilities
  • Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and business expectations
  • Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations across multiple teams

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Power Systems / Electrical Engineering concepts
  • Grid operations, load flow
  • Experience working with digital platforms in energy/utilities domain
  • Familiarity with data analytics, APIs, and system integrations
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst / Product Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
