Summary: The Senior Product Owner role focuses on leading the transition from a legacy platform to Aviva's architecture and policy administration platform within a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital product delivery, particularly in General Insurance, and will be responsible for defining roadmaps and coordinating multi-squad efforts. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing complex programs in a fast-paced environment. Experience in digital journeys and platform migrations is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery for the transition from a legacy platform onto Aviva Architecture and the Aviva Policy Admin platform.
- Define roadmaps and break down work into user stories.
- Challenge requirements and coordinate across squads to deliver a new digital front end.
- Support policy admin development and implement a refreshed pricing model.
Key Skills:
- Strong Digital Product Owner background.
- General Insurance (GI) experience — ideally in pet insurance, but other GI experience considered.
- Experience with digital journeys, platform migrations, and new digital product builds.
- Ability to manage multi-squad delivery.
