Summary: The role of Product Owner focuses on leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives for an insurance client, requiring expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP. The position involves collaboration with architecture teams, managing product backlogs, and ensuring effective Agile practices. The Product Owner will also engage with stakeholders to define user stories and oversee product demonstrations. This is a 6-month contract role that operates within IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the GRS Architecture Team and assigned Architect to ensure appropriate discussion of architecture direction and decisions.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring its accountability and maintenance.
- Work effectively with the Scrum Master, development team, and other team members to clarify business requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Contribute to Portfolio level 30/60/90-day planning sessions.
- Set expectations with stakeholders for the delivery of new capabilities and features, developing clear, actionable user stories.
- Line management of Product Analysts.
- Support and organize product Sprint demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaboratively build the team product roadmap, considering strategic inputs from business stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as a product owner/delivery lead in Data Loss Prevention projects.
- Experience in Regulatory and Risk Management initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance, integrity, lineage, and management.
- Relevant industry experience in Insurance, including Specialty and Commercial sectors.
- Experience shaping global operating models/frameworks and ensuring effective adoption.
- Proven Agile practitioner with experience in Agile teams.
- Management experience of third-party suppliers and development teams, both on-shore and off-shore.
- Experience working with Microsoft Purview.
