Summary: The Data Product Owner will serve as a liaison between technical data platform teams and business stakeholders for a prominent Financial Services client. This role focuses on ensuring data assets are accessible and reliable, facilitating data-driven decision-making. The position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders to prioritize requirements and manage the Data Platform backlog. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence two days a week in Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather and prioritise Data Platform requirements.
- Manage and maintain the Data Platform backlog and delivery pipeline.
- Ensure priorities align with strategic business objectives.
- Guide stakeholders in engaging with the Data Platform operating model.
- Support improvements and maintenance of the Data Platform alongside project delivery.
Key Skills:
- Experience working as a Product Owner (Data Platform or data environment) within financial services.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle.
- Proven stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience translating business needs into technical data platform requirements.
