Product Owner

Summary: The role of Product Owner with an InfoSec focus involves managing the team backlog and coordinating iteration planning to ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs. The position requires a strong understanding of InfoSec principles and effective stakeholder management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the digital delivery team and Product Manager to deliver the product vision. This is a 12-month contract based in Coventry with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, edit, and maintain the team backlog with input from stakeholders.
• Define and communicate PI objectives clearly.
• Reprioritise backlog items and manage dependencies across teams.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of user needs and deliver the product vision.
• Manage stakeholders throughout the delivery life cycle.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to establish governance frameworks.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in product ownership or agile delivery roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with SIEM tools, ideally Microsoft Sentinel.
• Understanding of InfoSec principles and digital product delivery.
