Summary: The Product Owner role focuses on leading product management for an AI conversational analytics program within the retail sector on a 6-month contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring priorities align to business outcomes, user needs, and the phased delivery plan across the AI conversational analytics programme
- Lead discovery across priority use cases, shaping requirements, refining priorities, and translating business demand into clear epics, features, and user stories
- Work closely with business stakeholders, engineering, data, UX, and platform teams to design and deliver capabilities that improve insight access, usability, and adoption
- Drive the rollout of priority capabilities, managing dependencies, risks, and in-flight changes, ensuring progress is clearly communicated to stakeholders
- Support the design of intuitive user journeys and AI-led insight experiences with a strong focus on self-service and measurable value realisation
- Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and validate delivered outcomes to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and ready for release
Key Skills:
- Proven product roadmap, backlog, and prioritisation ownership across a multi-phase analytics or insight platform programme
- Strong Agile delivery experience - PI planning, sprint planning, release planning across discovery, implementation, rollout, and value realisation
- Experience leading data or analytics product management in insight, reporting, or decision-support products
- Solid stakeholder management skills across business, engineering, data, UX, platform teams, and external partners
- Strong UX and self-service product thinking with a focus on usability, adoption, and user journey design

The Role
