Summary: The Product Manager role involves leading the development of innovative digital products focused on power system analysis, modelling, and optimisation. This position requires integrating power systems engineering with advanced digital technologies to enhance energy generation, transmission, and distribution. The role is contract-based and hybrid, requiring presence in Coventry three days a week. The ideal candidate will possess strong product management experience, particularly in the digital and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the vision and digital roadmap for your product.
  • Lead scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation for new features and enhancements.
  • Drive adoption of products aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals.
  • Research and apply emerging digital technologies to address power system challenges.
  • Manage cross-functional agile delivery teams across the full product lifecycle.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally within the digital and/or energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of power system principles, modelling techniques, and grid operation challenges.
  • Proficiency with power system analysis tools such as PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP.
  • Understanding of market trends in smart grids, energy storage, and renewable integration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Consulting background is a plus.

Role – We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Product Manager to lead the development of innovative digital products focused on power system analysis, modelling, and optimisation . In this role, you will drive solutions that integrate power systems engineering with cutting-edge digital technologies , enabling smarter energy generation, transmission, and distribution.
