Summary: The Senior Technical Product Manager will join a global media and information services organization to enhance B2B go-to-market strategies through effective product management. This role requires a strong technical foundation, particularly with Salesforce Sales Cloud, and involves leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver critical enhancements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management within B2B environments and a proven track record in agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog for Sales Operations-related Salesforce requests, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee and support delivery of platform enhancements, managing progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring timely completion.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and maintain transparent, ongoing communication.
- Use data and business value to determine priorities and define clear, actionable project scopes.
- Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to mitigate delivery risks.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure that delivered solutions are robust, timely, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Leverage agile methodologies (e.g. sprints, user stories, iterative development) to manage product development and drive efficiency.
- Maintain clear, well-organised documentation of requirements, user stories, and progress updates.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years in product management or a related role within a B2B sales or commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of Sales Operations and the associated technology stack, including CRM systems (particularly Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver a dynamic backlog of work with a focus on execution and outcomes.
- Comfortable working closely with technical teams and understanding the architecture and capabilities of Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, writing user stories, and translating business needs into technical deliverables.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve complex issues, and keep teams on track toward shared goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and working in iterative delivery cycles.
