Location : Waterside, London

Contract ended : 6 months

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Rate: £500-650 per day through UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)

Job purpose: Deliver the system Administration/configuration AND change management of a given set of Applications/products. To support and drive the product evolution of systems provided by suppliers, and deliver the core Configuration and change management associated with those systems

Accountabilities

  • System Expertise
  • Develop and maintain system expertise related to systems in scope and operational domain in scope for the role
  • Share expertise and domain knowledge with squad members to support the daily activities of the squad
  • Work closely with and support ASM with product expertise to ensure systems remain compliant from a security point of view
  • Work closely with and support ASM with product expertise to ensure we maintain robust system support coverage
  • SystemConfig and change delivery
  • Create and maintain system configuration, reference data and rules to safeguard legality and operability of the system for the Operations
  • Configuration of systems to facilitate business delivery
  • Work jointly with QA to create and develop test cases and deliver testing for system changes
  • Support change delivery
  • Document and cascade system changes, test documentation, release notes, user guidance and activity metrics
  • Work jointly with Product Manager to Develop baggage operational application, product and systems’ roadmap to support business requirement.
  • System evolution
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, Business Analyst, Solution architect and other squad member, to assess feasibility, define and scope requirements and solution and manage delivery of system changes
  • Represent relevant business areas in industry working groups and regular meetings as a key contributor
  • Work collaboratively with Product Manager and Influence Suppliers’ roadmap and backlog to maximise the value delivered by the application, product or systems, to our operations.

Qualifications / experience

  • Background in systems with strong IT acumen
  • Prior Knowledge and experience of baggage business process and baggage messages
  • Experience of system testing and creating relevant test data, executing tests and producing test exit reports (desirable).
