Key Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Lead products through the full product lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Understand user needs and translate these into clear product priorities and outcomes.
- Develop, maintain and prioritise product backlogs.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Delivery, Business Analysis, User Research, Service Design, UX and Engineering.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, building consensus and managing competing priorities.
- Use data, user research and evidence to inform product decisions.
- Define product goals, success measures and KPIs and monitor product performance.
- Identify dependencies, risks and opportunities across the wider programme and organisation.
- Champion agile, user-centred ways of working and support continuous improvement across the team.
About You
- Demonstrable experience working as a Product Manager within complex digital environments.
- Strong experience of agile product development and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing products across different stages of the product lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design and evidence-led product development.
- Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and prioritised backlogs.
- The ability to operate effectively in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to create momentum and remove barriers.
- Previous public sector and/or GDS experience would be highly advantageous.
