Summary: The Product Manager role is a contract position based in Leeds, focusing on leading the delivery of user-centered digital services in a public sector environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising based on user needs, business value, and technical constraints
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (design, engineering, delivery) to deliver high-quality digital services
- Engage stakeholders to shape product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes
- Use data, insights, and user research to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to live, ensuring successful service outcomes
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within the public sector
- Strong experience delivering digital products in a healthcare or health-related environment
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to balance user needs, technical delivery, and organisational priorities
- Desirable: Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms
- Experience working with user research and data-driven product decisions
