Summary: The role of Product Manager at a leading media organization in London involves managing and optimizing airtime sales systems and scheduling. The successful candidate will work independently on key product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and project management skills. The contract is for 6 months with a preference for hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the development, deployment, and optimization of airtime sales systems, including Landmark Rights & Scheduling, IBMS, MediaGenix What’s On, and MYDAS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, sales, and marketing) to ensure the product meets business goals and is aligned with customer needs.
- Analyse product performance and customer feedback to drive improvements, troubleshoot issues, and implement changes to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
- Lead projects from initiation through execution, ensuring timely delivery, scope management, and effective resource allocation.
- Provide insights and guidance to development teams, ensuring products are built to specifications and function optimally with existing systems.
- Regularly track key performance metrics, create reports, and present findings to leadership, identifying opportunities for further enhancement or new features.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Landmark Rights & Scheduling, IBMS, MediaGenix What’s On, MYDAS, Landmark Sales, and other airtime sales systems is essential.
- Proven experience in product management, ideally within the media or broadcasting industry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, quickly adapt to new environments, and make decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges and deliver successful product outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Experience managing complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
