Summary: The Product Manager role at Whitehall Resources involves overseeing communication-related applications within a complex customer environment. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week in Gaydon, and falls inside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define policy and process for communication-related applications.
  • Maintain product lifecycle strategy for hardware and software products related to mobile devices, MS Teams, MS Intune, MTR, AV equipment, and Session Border Controllers (SBC).
  • Test new features and assess their suitability for the customer environment.
  • Manage application upgrades, including scoping new versions and coordinating rollouts.
  • Create communication plans and frameworks for new product launches.
  • Manage subscriptions for MS Teams and MS Intune.
  • Provide recommendations on product features, upgrades, architecture, and roadmaps.
  • Handle product-related escalations and coordinate with business and vendors for resolution.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to resolve product-related issues and manage subscription renewals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, product ownership, purchasing, finance, and vendors.
  • Perform operational service reviews for third-party vendors.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth and proven experience with MS Teams.
  • In-depth and proven experience with MS Intune.
  • Understanding of MTR devices and AV equipment.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Apple Mac, and networking concepts.
  • Proven experience in project management and collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical and visualization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver value to business through effective product assessment and recommendations.
  • ITIL Foundation certification, ideally ITIL Incident/Problem Practitioner.
  • 6-8 years of experience within a large complex IT department/organization.
