Summary: The Product Manager role at Booking.com focuses on enhancing the post-booking experience for car rentals, ensuring customers have the necessary support for successful pickups and rentals. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of current and future traveller needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with the Group Product Manager and stakeholders to refine product strategy.
- Own the product roadmap and set objectives based on strategic goals.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of products, collaborating with various teams.
- Build strong relationships with engineers, designers, and testers to deliver traveller-centric features.
- Ensure well-defined epics and user stories are delivered efficiently.
- Make feature trade-offs and prioritisation decisions balancing traveller needs with technical considerations.
- Communicate the team’s work and progress to senior stakeholders and product leadership.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in product management within an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and UX design principles.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Excellent analytical skills, including writing user stories and documenting technical requirements.
- Outstanding communication skills for articulating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and developing creative solutions.
- Experience leading successful product discovery processes.
- Familiarity with data and SQL, design tools like Figma and Miro, and Jira for agile development.
- Experience with monitoring and analytical tools such as Kibana and Grafana.
- Previous experience working closely with Customer Services.
