The role
You'll develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritise the backlog and translate user needs into clear requirements.
Working closely with engineering, design, user research and delivery colleagues, you'll help the team focus on the right problems and deliver measurable improvements.
You'll also manage stakeholder expectations, communicate priorities and trade-offs, and use research, feedback and performance data to inform product decisions.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering digital products or services within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong experience defining product roadmaps, prioritising backlogs and balancing competing requirements.
- An evidence-led approach, using user research and data to guide decisions and measure success.
- Confident stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Previous experience delivering within UK central government, alongside familiarity with GDS standards and user-centred design, would be advantageous.
This opportunity would suit someone available immediately or at short notice who can attend central Manchester up to two days per week.
