Summary: The role of Product Lifecycle Management Consultant involves leading client projects in Service Lifecycle Management and Product Lifecycle Management as a senior technical expert. The consultant is responsible for analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring quality delivery while driving innovation in methodologies. The position requires extensive experience in IT or business process consulting, particularly with PTC technologies. The consultant will also identify new business opportunities in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client projects in Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Analyze requirements and design client-specific solutions from concept to deployment.
- Translate business needs into scalable and maintainable technical implementations.
- Deliver and facilitate client workshops and strategic discussions.
- Ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction through appropriate methods and software engineering processes.
- Drive and support innovation by refining methodologies and strategic approaches to PLM/SLM.
- Identify and support the acquisition of potential new projects and business opportunities.
Key Skills:
- A degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of experience in IT or business process consulting, ideally as a Solution Architect, Developer, or Technical Project Lead.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise SLM or PLM solutions, especially in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, electronics, or mechanical engineering industries.
- A track record of leading integration projects and driving results.
- Problem-solving, solution-finding, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a customer service-oriented, high-energy, results-oriented environment.
- Experience in conducting and managing workshops.
- Experience configuring or customizing PTC solutions such as Arbortext, SIM, Windchill Navigate, or Thing Worx is a plus.
