Summary: The Product Lead for New Build at E.ON UK is responsible for shaping the delivery of new build solutions by creating seamless installation and end-user experiences. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including SaaS partners and internal teams, to define product vision and strategy while driving technology integration and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong product leadership skills and a deep understanding of customer experiences, particularly in agile environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with SaaS partners and internal teams to define product vision and strategy.
- Influence third parties to ensure optimal product delivery.
- Understand new build regulations and targets in the UK.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify key problems and value.
- Build a comprehensive Product Roadmap integrating various technologies.
- Identify new technology and market trends to enhance smart meter connections.
- Define and drive the technology roadmap for integrating acquired companies.
- Lead technology choices related to New Build and Smart New Connections.
- Support continuous improvement across technologies and systems.
- Drive an agile and adaptable approach to change.

Here's a Taste Of What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with SAAS partners, other companies in the E.ON group, strategic level leaders and Product Managers to define the overall product vision and strategy related to New Build
- Influence multiple third parties to ensure the best possible product
- Understand the wider external landscape of new build regulation and targets in the UK
- Engage with stakeholders, customers and sponsors across E.ON Next to understand the key problems and value
- Build a great Product Roadmap that pulls together the best of SAAS, Kraken, Microsoft Dynamics and in-house products to create the best customer and business experience
- Identify new technology and market trends to best exploit our existing Smart meter new connections business
- Responsible for defining and driving the technology roadmap for integrating newly acquired companies into E.ON UK
- Drive a lean experimental approach to unlocking value across the Product area and our Operational business
- Lead on technology choices related to New Build and Smart New Connections
- Support the business with continuous improvement across technologies and systems
- Partner closely with our internal Product Managers and external IT providers, who support our tech products
- Stay on the forefront of change and drive an agile and adaptable approach to change

You bring a strong foundation in product leadership, through a degree or equivalent hands on experience
You understand developer and end-customer experiences deeply and care about improving every step of the journey
You're confident working in agile environments, with a focus on inclusive collaboration
You've partnered with SaaS providers or external tech teams before and know how to build strong relationships
You're naturally curious, empathetic and comfortable making decisions that balance people, technology, budget and performance
It Would Be Great If You Had
- Experience leading cross functional teams or initiatives in fast paced environments
- A background working with or within housing development
- Previous Experience Completing Company Acquisitions, Mergers & Integration
- A genuine interest in sustainable, human centred technology
- Confidence communicating clearly with diverse groups including senior leaders
- A desire to continuously learn and share knowledge to help others grow
