Summary: The Product Development Designer role involves supporting the Consumer Products team in managing creative workflows and product approvals for licensed merchandise. The position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey creative direction while ensuring compliance with style guides. The designer will also need to communicate effectively with internal partners and licensees to meet project deadlines. Some travel may be required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the day-to-day creative contact for assigned Hardlined and Hardlines adjacent partners/licensees.
• Manage creative workflow and product approvals for partners.
• Support onboarding to online PD tools and provide directions on asset usage.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of active CP title style guides and art assets.
• Recognize incorrect use of client IP and ensure compliance with style guide guidelines.
• Convey creative direction to resolve design issues as needed.
• Uphold contractual deadlines for approvals at all stages of development.
• Communicate timely with internal partners, licensees, and agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of design for consumer products and EMEA hardlines licensing landscape.
• Stay updated on retail and industry trends.
• Demonstrate high organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple deadlines.

Key Skills:

• 3 years of marketing experience within consumer products or related industries.
• Attention to detail and discernment in recognizing IP usage.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Knowledge of design for consumer products.
• Familiarity with EMEA hardlines licensing landscape.
• Understanding of retail and industry trends.
• Proficiency in English; additional European language preferred.
