Summary: The Product Developer role at AllSaints involves managing the day-to-day product development of the Ready-to-Wear (RTW) collection, ensuring that designs are executed within the brand's financial and logistical frameworks. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including Design and Production, to ensure timely delivery of samples and adherence to sustainability standards. The role is based in East London and is part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing customer experience through innovative product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day product development of the RTW collection.
- Coordinate samples, ensuring they are logged and passed to correct teams for presentations.
- Chase prices from vendors, providing the buying team with visibility for negotiations.
- Work with Design and Production on bulk approvals.
- Source new trims, hardware, and materials in collaboration with the design team.
- Ensure the development critical path is followed and all samples arrive on time.
- Assist designers in creating tech packs and ensure product information is accurate up to production stage.
- Work closely with European and Far East suppliers.
- Attend fit meetings and collection reviews regarding RTW.
- Update bill of materials sheets from pronto stage onwards.
- Ensure all fabric, trims, and spec sheets are sent out for SMS.
- Chase all SMS for deadlines.
- Monitor expenditures and maintain sampling budget monthly.
- Strive to ensure all fabrics, trims, and processes are sustainable.
Key Skills:
- Solid experience in a similar role.
- Technical or Design qualifications/education preferred.
- Knowledge of vertical retailing would be advantageous.
- Strong retail numerical acumen.
- Computer literate – basic office suite.
- Experience working in a PLM system is preferred.
- Ability to travel.

THE ROLE The Design department is the epicentre of our DNA and influences every part of our brand. We play a key role in setting the tone and direction of the brand visually, commercially and ensure that our customers receive the product they desire. Product Development is responsible for releasing Designs vision of product within the financial, seasonal and logistical framework of the brand’s sourcing base.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Manage the day to day product development of the RTW collection
- Coordinating Samples and ensuring they are logged and passed to correct teams and set up for presentations
- Chasing prices from vendors, ensuring the buying team have full visibility for negotiations
- Working with Design and Production on bulk approvals
- Working with the design team, sourcing new trims, hardware and materials
- Ensuring development critical path is followed and all samples arrive on time
- Help designers in creating teach packs and ensuring product information is accurate and correct up to production stage
- Following and working closely with European and Far East suppliers
- Attend fit meetings and collection reviews regarding RTW
