Summary: The role of Senior Product Designer focuses on driving new product initiatives within a global financial services company. This hands-on position involves collaborating with strategy and product leaders to design, prototype, and test concepts aimed at identifying growth opportunities. The designer will balance innovation with existing product needs through rapid experimentation and user-led design. This is a 6-month contract position based in Nottingham with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with product and strategy leads to design experiments that explore new business opportunities
- Conduct user research and leverage insights to shape designs that balance user needs with business goals
- Iterate on designs based on data, feedback, and learning from experiments, keeping scalability in mind
- Communicate design thinking clearly to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience working in cross-functional product teams, delivering digital products to market
- Hands-on experience designing for native mobile apps (iOS/Android) and responsive web platforms
- Experience with end-to-end design thinking, from research through to final execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
