Summary: The role of Product Designer involves working with a large energy client on a contract basis, focusing on UX/UI design for customer-centric journeys in digital lending products. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the production of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. The designer will also conduct user research and usability testing to enhance digital experiences. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office once or twice a month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on UX/UI design across end-to-end journeys for their new energy project
- Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs aligned to programme objectives.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders across commercial banking.
- Run discovery activities, including user research, insight gathering, and usability testing.
- Translate complex financial/lending requirements into simple, elegant digital experiences.
Key Skills:
- Mid weight Product Designer with UX and UI experience
- Prior experience in energy would be beneficial, but not mandatory
- End-to-end product design: research, UX, UI, prototyping, validation.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional squads.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and experience in regulated environments.
