Summary: As a Product Designer at Zellis, you will lead the creative design approach for HR & Payroll products, focusing on user-centric design and innovation. Your role encompasses all stages of the design process, collaborating closely with product developers and front-end developers to ensure exceptional user experiences. You will also manage design systems and advocate for accessibility standards while pushing creative boundaries. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovating and evolving user experiences through user-centric design and systems thinking.
  • Creating and managing a brand illustration system for flagship products.
  • Ensuring design systems meet accessibility standards.
  • Utilising creative design techniques to provide diverse design options.
  • Collaborating with Front-End Developers to ensure experience-driven outcomes.
  • Utilising various mediums to communicate concepts and promote products.
  • Creating intuitive user interface designs that support product innovation and business needs.
  • Working closely with the product team to align designs with product visions.
  • Maintaining accuracy and quality while working at pace.
  • Utilising style guides and design governance for component creation.
  • Evangelising creative design throughout the organisation.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise user experience with a focus on design systems.
  • Proficient in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of material 3 and web accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience working with design systems and interaction patterns.
  • Broad range of design, motion, video, and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Front-End Developers on design standards.
  • Ability to document design patterns and create style guides.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Degree in a design-related subject is desirable.
  • High-level knowledge of HTML/CSS/React is a plus.
