The apprentice will engage in various procurement activities while developing essential skills in supplier relationship management and inventory optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse inventory levels and schedule orders for both internal factories and external suppliers of finished products.
- Develop knowledge of different supply chain execution methods and apply them effectively.
- Support procurement activities, including supplier relationship management and cost control.
- Maintain and monitor MRP parameters (stock levels & demand) to ensure optimal inventory control.
- Communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
- Adapt supply patterns to enhance stock value while meeting demand.
