Summary: The Procurement Specialist role is a temp-to-perm opportunity based in London, requiring a dynamic individual to efficiently source products and services while aligning with the organization's strategic goals. The position involves managing procurement projects, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with teams to streamline operations. This role is set to transition to a permanent position after a 6-month contract period. The position is classified as inside IR35, with a daily rate of £250.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Procurement Specialist to ensure secure and effective supply to internal customers in the London region
  • Contribute to the creation of value for the business through expert supplier agreements and efficient procurement processes
  • Align sourcing activities with the bank's strategic objectives, internal guidelines, and industry standards
  • Manage procurement projects with medium complexity and risk, covering all categories of sourcing
  • Assist in developing product group strategies, pricing models, and negotiation tactics
  • Negotiate and manage local contracts while supporting internal customers in fulfilling their business needs
  • Collaborate with procurement teams and nearshoring locations to streamline operations

Key Skills:

  • Hands on experience in Purchasing (preferably in the Financial Services sector) or related fields such as Sales, IT, Logistics, or Accountancy
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, procurement systems, and processes
  • Excellent negotiation skills and basic legal knowledge in contract law
  • Strong commercial and project management knowledge
  • Degree/MCIPS or equivalent

£250 p/d inside ir35 (£65k-£70k permanent salary after 6months)

6-months contract (before transitioning to permanent position)

One of our FS clients is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing products and services efficiently across all categories while contributing to the strategic goals of our organization.
