Commercial & Contract Lead - 6 month contract via umbrella - Glasgow hybrid

One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Commercial & Contract Lead to join the team on an initial 6-month contract with possible 23 months extension.

Essential skills, competences, relevant qualifications and previous experience required:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in of the full end-to-end procurement process with clear working knowledge of public procurement legislation and sustainable procurement requirements (including community benefits).
  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of complex high-value / high-risk procurement projects and programmes, along with proven management and organisational skills, including the ability to balance competing demands.
  • Proven track record in supporting the review and summary of existing contracts, supporting internal “technical” leads with reviewing scope of existing contracts and leading the drafting of a contract specification.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral), with experience of building strong productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
