Procurement Specialist

We are recruiting a Procurement Specialist on a Fixed Term Contract (until September 2026) to join a small, high-performing Procurement team supporting a large, diverse organisation and its subsidiary companies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a strategic, delivery-focused procurement role within a supportive and well-structured environment.

Role Details:

As a Procurement Specialist you will lead and deliver a range of above and below threshold procurement projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliant, value-driven sourcing activity. The role is focused on tendering, contract management, and continuous improvement rather than transactional procurement. You will manage and run multiple procurement projects simultaneously (typically 6–8 at any one time) taking ownership of them all.

About You

You will have experience working within a procurement team, ideally within the public sector. CIPS qualification (or working towards) is desirable, but equivalent experience will be considered, with full support available for ongoing CIPS training and development. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple projects, producing high-quality procurement documentation, and working collaboratively with stakeholders. Strong organisation, communication, and the ability to quickly understand new requirements are key.
