Summary: The Procurement Project Manager will lead a project focused on securing a large public sector bid tender for a leading UK charity. This role requires expertise in governance, project coordination, and managing complex projects with multiple third parties. The position is primarily remote, with occasional requirements to attend the client site in London. The contract is for a full-time duration of 3 months and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, establish governance frameworks, and create a comprehensive project plan to align with the bid process
- Collaborate with the Bid Director, external bid writers, and subcontractors to ensure streamlined project execution
- Maintain momentum in the bid process, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met effectively
- Oversee aspects related to contracts, compliance requirements, and legal documentation involving third parties
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar project management role
- Prior involvement in the production, management, and delivery of significant high value bids
- Experience coordinating projects with multiple subcontractors (up to 20) and managing third-party contributions
- Proven ability to define project scope and establish governance for large, complex projects
- Familiarity with legal, compliance, and contractual aspects within project environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and competing priorities
