Summary: The Procurement & Pricing Manager is responsible for optimizing procurement processes and enhancing service delivery within the resale/B2B category for a national transport business. The position requires collaboration with various teams to implement effective pricing and procurement strategies. The role is hybrid, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the group procurement team to secure optimal deals for the UK market.
- Work with the Category Team to ensure comprehensive market access through brand policy.
- Regularly review brand policy margins and communicate with customer-facing teams.
- Manage supplier rebates and terms support.
- Track service and support fund usage to ensure full utilization.
- Ensure competitive customer pricelists while maximizing margins.
- Communicate manufacturer and service price changes to customers and sales teams.
- Gain insights into competitor pricing through collaboration with the sales team.
- Oversee customer pricing submissions from the sales team.
- Manage pricing quotation tools and train sales team members on their use.
- Handle new listings, discontinuations, and supersessions in the product file.
- Ensure the product file is consistently updated with data management.
- Attend and present at sales meetings as required.

Description
The Procurement & Pricing Manager will:
- Collaborate with the group procurement team to ensure the company has the best possible deals in place for the UK market and to ensure they have a competitive "go to market" offer
- Work with the Category Team to ensure brand policy gives complete market access across all areas
- Review brand policy margins on a regular basis and share clear communications with customer facing teams on the most margin rich brands to push
- Be the gatekeeper for managing supplier rebates and terms support
- Track service and support fund usage and ensuring support funds are fully utilised
- Ensure customer pricelists are competitive whilst delivering the best possible margins
- Ensure that all manufacturer and service price changes are passed on to customers and communicated to the sales team for review, and ring-fencing in a timely manner before sharing with the marketing team for outbound communications in line with agreed SLAs
- Work with the sales team to gain insights into competitor pricing to ensure we remain competitive
- Be the gate keeper for customer pricing submitted by the sales team
- Own the pricing quotation tools and ensuring all members of the sales team are trained on how to use them
- Manage new listings, discontinuations and supersessions in the product file
- Work with data management to ensure the product file is always up to date
- Attend and present at sales meetings as required
