Summary: The role of Procurement Officer involves supporting a local government client in the North West with end-to-end procurement processes, managing multiple tenders, and engaging in various procurement projects. The position is full-time for an initial three-month period, requiring onsite presence once a week. The focus is on generalist procurement, predominantly in IT, but also includes transport and other ad hoc procurements. Candidates should have public sector procurement experience and familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in general sourcing and end-to-end procurement processes.
- Manage multiple tenders simultaneously and oversee various projects.
- Support a range of different RTM and values, primarily framework-focused.
- Work independently across all stages of the procurement process.
Key Skills:
- Public sector procurement experience.
- Generalist skillset across various categories and markets.
- Experience with multiple frameworks, particularly CCS.
- Ability to juggle multiple tenders at once.
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023.

Panoramic Associates are supporting our local government client in the North West with the recruitment of an Interim Procurement Officer for an initial three months and on a full-time basis. You will be required to come onsite once a week.
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Daily Rate: £300 p/d via umbrella
Location: North West
Onsite: 1 day per week
Role
- Engage in general sourcing: end to end procurement process, manage multiple tenders at once and see multiple projects through
- This will mainly be framework focused but you will need to be able to support on a range of different RTM and range of values
- Predominantly IT based, however this is a generalist procurement role and includes transport and any other ad hoc procurements
Requirements
- Public sector procurement experience
- The organisation procures a lot of different types of areas so a generalist skillset is more attractive than specialist for this role
- Experience across categories, markets and variety of frameworks (specially familiarity with CCS)
- Ability to juggle multiple tenders at any given time
- End-to-end procurement experience
- Ability to work predominantly independently across all stages of the procurement process
- Procurement Act 2023 knowledge and experience as you will be working under the new regulations, and wider procurement skillset and experience.
