Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for sourcing and contract management across assigned categories.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Lead contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance.
  • Implement key projects to support savings delivery or risk mitigation.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment and plan delivery across commercial leadership and finance.
  • Manage suppliers through a robust performance management process.
  • Ensure supplier performance is understood and measured.
  • Utilize complex business processes in supplier transactions, including risk and compliance requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Tech & Digital Procurement.
  • Specific experience with Software, SaaS & Cloud suppliers.
  • Ability to proactively source suppliers and negotiate contracts quickly.
  • Experience in global, multi-national companies in regulated industries.

Your New Daily rate: Up to £505 PAYE or £667 Umbrella p/day* £131k equivalent

Who you'll be working for: Our client, a major FTSE100 business, who have fantastic offices in London and Weybridge are looking for a Global Category Manager in Technology.

Procurement Manager - What You'll be Doing: You will be accountable for all sourcing and contract management across assigned categories. Negotiate contracts with suppliers that secure favourable terms for procurement contracts in line with the agreed business requirements. Contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance. Lead and implement key projects to support savings delivery or risk mitigation. Lead stakeholder alignment and Plan delivery (Commercial leadership and Finance across the business) Working across multiple countries requiring high cultural awareness Manage the suppliers for the categories within scope through a robust performance management process. Ensure supplier performance is understood and measured. Requires significant external supplier knowledge. Knows and utilises complex business processes in all supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements.

Procurement Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: Extensive experience working in Tech & Digital Procurement Specific experience working with Software, SaaS & Cloud suppliers & spend categories. The ability to proactively source suppliers, negotiate and then execute contracts at pace. Experience of working for global, multi-national companies in highly regulated industries. Ability to influence & stakeholders manage at executive level autonomously. Ability to deliver multiple procurement projects within enterprise programmes subject to programme governance & fast paced timelines. Exceptional commercial & financial acumen to advise procurement to strategy & align to business cases to ensure overall business case delivery.
