Summary: The Procurement Manager role involves advising and supporting senior management on procurement activities within a public sector organization. The position requires cultivating strategic relationships and ensuring effective procurement services while stepping in for the Head of Strategic Procurement as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support senior management on procurement activities.
  • Step in for the Head of Strategic Procurement when necessary.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with senior management teams.
  • Ensure delivery of a top-tier procurement service to meet statutory responsibilities.
  • Work with the Strategic Procurement Team to provide support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address procurement issues.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive public sector experience.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end procurement experience.
  • Working knowledge of PCR15 and understanding of PA23 regulations.
  • Experience with NEC4 and JCT suite of contracts (ideally).
  • Ability to commute to the South West office.
