Job title: Sourcing ManagerLocations: Manchester or Knutsford (or Northampton or Glasgow)Hybrid 2 days a week in the officeContract length: 6 months initially, potential for permanentDay rate: PAYE - Inside IR35Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for Buyers / Procurement professionals with Sourcing experience to join a leading bank.The role will offer a hybrid working model and be based out of either the Manchester, Knutsford, Northampton or Glasgow office 2 days per week.The Role: The Sourcing Manager / Buyer is responsible for owning a portfolio of sourcing deals (new contracts, renewals, extensions, orders) of varying value levels, risk levels depending on the level of the role.You will be providing sourcing and category execution support for specific categories of spend.Key Responsibilities:Engaging with business stakeholders to understand the demand, requirements and support the best commercial outcomeAgreeing the sourcing approach with the category lead (e.g. RFX process, single source renewal/negotiation) aligned to the category strategyExecution of the process following processes and controls through to contract signature and hand over to the supplier managerAdditional work on category planning (e.g. renewals pipeline development, spend analysis) may be required to support the category managerKey skills & Qualifications:Experience of end to end Sourcing process ideally Financial Services or in a similarly regulated environment for categories in scope of the roleStructured approach to planning and execution ensuring key stakeholders and procurement colleagues are appraised of progress, plans and blockersAbility to work at pace with but with control at the front of mindComfortable operating in complex matrixed environmentsSelf-starter, proactive and quick to learn process, controls and toolsGood interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholdersGood collaborative style with other Procurement and Bank teamsYou will ideally have experience in one of the following categories:Functions Technology, Legal, HR, or Capital projectsIf this isn t the role you re looking for right now, please visit our contractor portal below where you will see all of our live roles and communities to join:https://contractortalent.gr8people.eu/
