Detailed Description From Employer:

Your new company You will be working as a Procurement Manager for a fast growing manufacturing company based in Burntwood. This role will be predominately on site, however there will be an opportunity to work from home once a week once up and running.

Your new role As Procurement Manager, you will manage and lead a small team to achieve department performance against agreed KPI's. You will ensure regular one to one meetings and maintain a positive and collaborative culture across the team. You will develop the direct procurement team and identify suppliers and manufacturers for a range of raw materials, packaging and products from across the world. You will use a range of negotiating techniques to reduce costs and achieve value for money whilst maintaining good supplier relationships.

What you'll need to succeed You must have procurement experience within a manufacturing environment. You should have experience in direct and indirect procurements, ideally in chemicals, raw materials, accessories and packaging, as well as utilities, services and consumables. You must have previous line management experience as well.
