Key Responsibilities:
- Management of IT Renewals (BAU software and support)
- Execution of the category strategy, including negotiating and contracting with suppliers
- Conducting supplier due diligence and managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
- Building knowledge of the supply market within the business across the International firm
- Managing appropriate supplier governance and ownership of overall contractual relationships
- Producing qualitative and quantitative management information to support procurement value
- Delivering bid activity including RFI/RFP/RFQ
- Developing and establishing relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Ensuring supplier performance meets operational requirements of the Business Units
- Delivering tangible, bottom-line benefits to DLA Piper from category management of spend
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years IT Procurement and commercial experience
- Proven category and spend management delivery
- Demonstrable IT Contract Management experience
- Experience with IT contracts including Enterprise Agreements and End User Licence Agreements
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Working towards or achieved MCIPS preferred
- Previous experience in a Law Firm or International organization preferred

Main duties and responsibilities

About You
At least 5 years IT Procurement and commercial experience. Proven category and spend management delivery. Demonstratable IT Contract Management experience Demonstratable experience with IT contracts including Enterprise Agreements, End User Licence Agreements and experience delivering International Agreements. Excellent communication skills and influencing skills Working towards MCIPS (or MCIPS achieved) is preferred. Previous experience working for a Law Firm or International organisation is preferred.
