Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activity across Facilities (Hard & Soft services) and indirect spend.
  • Manage key upcoming projects covering Facilities - Hard Services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, maintenance) and Soft Services (cleaning, security, catering, waste management).
  • Deliver tendering and sourcing strategies from market analysis through to contract award.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, embedding performance KPIs and compliance standards.
  • Build strategic supplier relationships and oversee contract lifecycles and renewals.
  • Work with stakeholders to shape procurement requirements and deliver best-in-class outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance to track savings and align procurement with business goals.
  • Report procurement performance and insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement legislation where applicable.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and embed ethical, sustainable procurement principles.

Key Skills:

  • Background in FM & indirect procurement with recent generalist category management experience.
  • Degree in Business, Procurement, or related discipline; CIPS qualification desirable.
  • Commercially astute with a strong grasp of cost vs. quality vs. risk.
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with procurement tools (e.g. SAP, Agresso, P2P systems) and confident with Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a problem-solving mindset.
