Are you a strategic procurement professional who excels at the intersection of supply chain design and major bid capture? Do you have hands-on expertise with NEC4 contracts and a track record of shaping winning solutions in a contracting environment? We are expanding a newly established Project Procurement team within our UK&I Operations division. We are looking for a proactive, agile Procurement Lead (Win Work) to embed themselves into our most critical, high-value pursuits and bids, transforming how we leverage our supply chain to differentiate our market position relative to competitors.
The Opportunity & Impact
This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where your ideas and strategies will directly shape the direction of our regional Project Procurement function. You will act as the go-to expert for engaging third parties early in the project lifecycle, driving growth and mitigating downstream delivery risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Strategy & Capture: Embed yourself within campaign and bid teams across core markets, developing and executing bespoke partnering and supply chain strategies.
- Agreement Drafting: Draft partner MOUs, Teaming/Workshare Agreements, and complex subcontracts during pre-contract and live bid stages.
- Commercial Insights: Support make/buy strategies and collaborate with commercial teams on innovative contracting models where the supply chain forms an integral part of client offerings.
- Stakeholder Influence: Proactively engage and build strong relationships with senior business leaders, demonstrating the value-add of early procurement involvement.
- Contractual Mobilisation: For successful bids, lead the seamless contractual mobilisation of external partners and suppliers, serving as the critical conduit from tender to delivery stage.
What We Are Looking For
Contracting Organisation Pedigree: A proven track record in Procurement & Supply Chain management within a project-based contracting organisation, preferably with a heavy focus on work winning.
NEC4 Expertise: Essential, hands-on experience with NEC4 Subcontracting in the Professional Services and Works space.
Bid Lifecycle Experience: Comprehensive experience analysing client ITTs, extracting requirements, writing RFQs, managing competitive tenders, and driving complex negotiations.
Relationship & Change Drivers: Strong influencing and collaboration skills to manage ambiguity, handle conflicting demands from stakeholders, and actively drive functional change.
Sector Background: An engineering, consultancy, or technical sector background is highly beneficial.
