Summary: The Procurement Lead for the National Resilience New Dimensions 2 Program will strategically oversee the development and execution of procurement plans while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. About The Role
The Procurement Lead will take the strategic lead on the development and delivery of work plans and effective management of the Procurement of New Dimensions 2 (ND2), national capability uplift programme. By engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to align requirements with New Dimensions goals, the post holder will deliver fit for purpose contracts in a timely manner whilst always ensuring value for money.

Candidates must be members of CIPS and preferably hold an honours degree. It is expected that Candidates will be experienced in contract management and have strong commercial awareness.

Candidates will already possess a CIPS qualification whilst being accredited in transforming public procurement is desirable. Similarly, having previous experience of procurement for fire service or blue light applications is also desirable, but not essential.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2028 due to funding and is based at Service Headquarters, Bridle Road, Bootle, L30 4YD. Further information about the role can be found in the associated job profiles and person specifications.
