Summary: The Procurement Engineer role involves supporting a procurement and supply chain team at an aerospace manufacturing facility. The position focuses on managing the Procure to Pay process, ensuring compliance with governance and policies, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. The jobholder will also assist with order management and data accuracy across multiple ERP systems. This is a 6-month contract position requiring strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Procure to Pay process, including on-time order placement and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to governance, policy, and processes for compliance.
- Support senior team members with orderbook reviews and invoice management.
- Update delivery dates in multiple ERP systems for data accuracy.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and interface with various teams.
- Assist colleagues with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Key Skills:
- Procurement experience in a high-volume aerospace or manufacturing market.
- Supply Chain orderbook management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to compile data, analyze, and propose recommendations.
- Experience with Tableau dashboarding.
