Summary: The Procurement Coordinator role at PA Media Group involves managing procurement processes within the Finance team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for internal purchases, managing orders through our SAP S4 Hana ERP system.
- Support colleagues across departments with procurement queries, liaising with subject matter experts and suppliers where required.
- Review and validate purchasing requests, challenging requirements and escalating risks where appropriate.
- Monitor vendor compliance, terms and conditions, and pricing – ensuring we work with trusted and cost-effective suppliers.
- Contribute to cost recharges and credit card reconciliation.
- Uphold data accuracy by standardising procurement processes and minimising errors.
- Produce regular procurement reports and assist with contract management.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with a commitment to process and accuracy.
- CIPS qualification (desirable).
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (desirable).
