Summary: The Procurement Coordinator 2 will support sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations at eXmoor's Cell & Gene Therapy Centre in Bristol. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for process development and clinical manufacturing of Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products (ATMPs). The position involves compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines while collaborating with various stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work within a globally recognized team in a rapidly growing market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement activities for materials, consumables, and reagents for PD and GMP Operations teams.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for procurement and management of consumables, equipment, and services.
  • Manage supplier communications, including onboarding, complaints, and issue resolution.
  • Utilize procurement and inventory management systems to manage purchase orders.
  • Comply with GMP Warehouse Controls for receipt, storage, and handling of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with EU GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards in procurement operations.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Comply with PD and GMP documentation including risk assessments, SOPs, and safety documentation.
  • Participate in all required training sessions.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in procurement.
  • Experience with procurement and inventory management systems such as MyAmici and/or ERP systems.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and sourcing.
  • BSc in Life Sciences or equivalent experience (desirable).
  • In-depth knowledge of EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) (desirable).
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceuticals industry (desirable).
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualifications (desirable).
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
