Summary: The Procurement Consultant role focuses on managing global strategic sourcing and procurement projects within the IT Business Applications Software category for a UK Investment Banking and Asset Management organization. The position requires analytical skills to present data and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring effective contract management and value for money. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT Software category management within Financial Services and knowledge of regulatory compliance. This is a 12-month hybrid contract position based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage global strategic sourcing and procurement projects within the IT Business Applications Software spend category.
- Collect, analyze, and present data and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
- Identify opportunities, risks, and priorities regarding software investments.
- Ensure effective contract management and value for money across Business Application and Banking Services categories.

Procurement Consultant IT Business Applications Software Category Central London – Hybrid £700pd via umbrella 12 month contract
Our client, an established UK Investment Banking and Asset Management organisation is looking to secure an experienced IT Business Applications Procurement Consultant on an interim basis.
In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing critical global strategic sourcing and procurement projects within the IT Business Applications Software spend category with a c.$500M annual spend.
You will be an analytical individual who can collect, analyse, and present data and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, across the organisation in support of the wider procurement strategy, ensuring opportunities, risks, and priorities are identified in with regards to software investments.
You will be a commercially minded individual with e proven track record of effective contract management ensuring value for money across the Business Application (software) and Banking Services categories.
The successful candidate must have IT Software category management experience within Financial Services organisations and be knowledgeable on regulatory and compliance requirements.
