Summary: Procurement Consultant needed for a 6-month engagement with a consultancy client in London, requiring a strong Business Analyst/Project Manager with experience in Procurement functions and Asset Management environments. The role involves working 3 days per week onsite in London as part of a Corporate Change team focused on procurement transformation initiatives. Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company and the position is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a Corporate Change team to plan, execute, and oversee procurement-related initiatives.
  • Deliver change within a Procurement function, ensuring project governance and collating supporting documents.
  • Engage with business users to elicit requirements and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Utilize Agile delivery methodologies and ensure business outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and quality standards.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering change within a Procurement function.
  • Ability to operate across traditional project delivery methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Strong experience in business analysis, including business process change.
  • Understanding of project management, including planning and coordination.
  • Experience and understanding of Asset Management.
  • Good relationship management skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Consultative approach to stakeholder management.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Procurement Consultant - Hybrid BA/PM (Asset Management) needed for an initial 6-month engagement with our Consultancy client in London. The role will involve 3-days per week onsite in London and requires a strong Business Analyst/Project Manager with demonstrable experience working within Procurement functions and an understanding of Asset Management environments combined with experience and knowledge of Procurement Processes and Category Management Frameworks and Template Development

The successful candidate will be working within a Corporate Change team planning, executing and overseeing procurement related initiatives as part of an organisation's procurement transformation.

The role is Inside IR35 and is Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in London. Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering Change within a Procurement function, including an understanding of the disciplines of a Procurement function.
  • Ability to operate across traditional project delivery methodologies in particular experience of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong experience in a business analysis role, including business process change and business change.
  • Experience/Understanding of project management, including planning, co-ordination and ensuring that business outcomes and timelines are achieved on time, to budget and quality.
  • Experience and understanding of the Asset Management
  • Ability to ensure appropriate project governance is followed and collate supporting documents.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation through direct interaction with business users and their processes.
  • Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process. Able to develop effective relationships across the business and the wider change management community.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills and a Consultative approach.
