Summary: The Procurement Co-ordinator will collaborate closely with senior procurement members to manage various commercial activities, ensuring a high-quality procurement service. This role involves liaising with key stakeholders and supporting the IT & Estates Category Managers in supplier reviews and contract management. The position also includes managing low-value tendering activities and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. The successful candidate will assist in improving commercial processes and reporting to senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT & Estates Category Managers with supplier reviews to ensure best value, contract management and collating market data
  • Manage low value tendering activity, e-tendering activities and the promotion of procurement best practice
  • Help ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and good practice of all procurement processes
  • Work with management and key stakeholders to improve commercial process and identify waste across each category area
  • Assist Category Managers with collating all data and information required to report back to Programme Boards and Senior management teams

Key Skills:

  • Experience in undertaking procurement activity such as low-level tendering activity and managing low value contracts
  • Track record working with and supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of collating and analysing commercial data, working to deadlines and overseeing a diverse workload
