Our client, an established and socially conscious, financial services organisation are looking for an experienced and innovative procurement leader, to support the delivery of a new and innovative procurement strategy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of a new, organisation wide, procurement target operating model. We’re looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about delivering best in class procurement and contract management, achieving exceptional value for money. You will use your stakeholder management skills to work closely with existing suppliers to maximise potential, streamline services, and move towards creating a commercial and collaborative procurement function. You will use your analytical skills to identify opportunities and stakeholder management skills to engage with external suppliers and nurture effective and commercial business critical relationships. To be successful in this role, you will have previously worked in an IT Procurement Category Management role, and have extensive knowledge of IT modernisation and transformation. You must have strong technical IT knowledge and a proven track record delivering effective and commercial procurements, working closely with an IT function to streamline software and infrastructure assets, ensuring value for money, in line with the wider procurement strategy. It is essential you have worked in a similar procurement role, delivering change across IT Categories. Financial services experience is desirable but not essential.
