Summary: The Procurement Buyer role at a global Energy Technology company in Warwick involves managing procurement activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse supplier portfolio and lead sourcing activities
- Drive price negotiations and resolve invoicing/payment discrepancies
- Ensure timely PO issuance and manage procurement workload effectively
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (MRPCs, requisitioners)
- Ensure compliance with Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procurement policies
- Support supplier lifecycle activities (qualification, selection, evaluation, development)
- Maintain supplier performance systems and ensure procurement transparency
- Manage procurement documentation and contract systems
- Support or lead Procurement Business Plan initiatives
Key Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in Direct Procurement
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power BI & analytics mindset highly desirable)
- Experience handling large volumes of data with a structured, analytical approach
- Background in aerospace or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of complex components such as castings and forgings
- Strong experience with C-class commodities

What We’re Looking For
