Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead NICE’s procurement of goods and services with a non-pay budget of approximately £28m.
  • Provide expert leadership in procurement processes and contract management across NICE.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer professional advice on complex procurement and contractual matters.
  • Lead and support the development and delivery of training programmes on procurement standards.
  • Oversee and manage tenders and ensure financial and operational compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement methods, commercial law, and business analysis techniques.
  • Experience in managing procurement strategies within a public sector context.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership in procurement and contract management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Salary (Rate): £70,000.00
