Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a business-embedded procurement service to a government organization.
- Engage in procurement and contract planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Scrutinize procurement requests for compliance with Cabinet Office controls and policies.
- Ensure contracts are managed in line with public spending regulations.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of Government Commercial and best practice procurement policies and procedures.
- Experience in public sector procurement.
- Tendering experience within professional services or equivalent knowledge.
- Able to support commercial delivery with clear requirements and outcomes.
- Experience in contract and supplier relationship management.
- Achieved level 4 or working towards full membership of CIPS.
- Experience in developing procurement policy and embedding improvements.
- Good working knowledge of legal aspects of contract law.

We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner (PBP) to provide a business-embedded procurement service to a government organisation. The PBP’s role encompasses procurement and contract planning, monitoring and reporting, scrutinising procurement requests, compliance with Cabinet Office controls and policies, and ensure contracts are managed in line with managing public spending.
Key Skills & Experiences:
- Strong understanding of Government Commercial and best practice procurement policies and procedures.
- Experience of working in public sector procurement.
- Tendering experience within professional services or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Able to support commercial delivery with a clear view of requirements and outcomes.
- Experience of contract and supplier relationship management, including supporting non-procurement and commercial colleagues in managing contractual arrangements.
- Achieved level 4 or working towards full membership of CIPS.
- Experience of developing procurement policy, practice and embedding improvements in to the service.
- Good working knowledge of legal aspects of contract law.
