Key Responsibilities:
- Set up pharmacy stock profiles to meet clinical requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers for best value purchases and raise requisitions.
- Deliver and unpack stock, ensuring accuracy and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storerooms.
- Communicate and resolve queries related to procurement processes.
- Update the computerized stock system and produce reports for senior staff.
- Organize annual stock reviews and produce stock take reports.
- Assist with training new pharmacy team members in stock management.
- Manage workload flexibly to cover team members during absences.
- Optimize stock levels and manage slow-moving stock.
- Follow relevant policies and procedures, providing feedback on changes.
Key Skills:
- Understanding of stock management principles and processes.
- Basic experience with Windows applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of pharmacy ordering and stock management systems, including JAC.
- Experience in a stock management/control role.
- Medical consumables product knowledge (desirable).
- Previous experience in pharmacy, hospital, or health services (desirable).
