Summary: The Procurement and Vendor Manager role involves overseeing the procurement and vendor life cycle for a leading organization in Central London on a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement and vendor life cycle, from requisition to payment.
  • Lead RFP processes and support sourcing strategies across technology and business services.
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage vendor contracts in line with company policies and legal frameworks.
  • Ensure contract terms support business objectives while effectively mitigating risk.
  • Partner closely with legal, risk, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive cost efficiency and service improvement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement operations.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in vendor management and contract management, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven experience across contract negotiation, supplier governance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • CIPS and/or IACCM certification desirable.
  • Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or related sectors advantageous.

We are currently looking for an experienced Procurement and Vendor Manager to join a leading organisation based in Central London on a 6-month contract (Inside IR35).

This role will suit a Procurement Specialist or Vendor Management Professional with a strong background in contract negotiation, supplier performance, and stakeholder management within financial services or a similar regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end procurement and vendor life cycle, from requisition to payment.
